74 years old lady (Known case of hypertension & Diabetes) came with left hip pain and difficulty in walking . She had history of surgical intervention left side cemented bipolar & right side DHS done elsewhere 5 yrs back. She also noticed left lower limb shortening. Her pre-operative x-ray showed protrusio of bipolar prosthesis and loosening. She plan for revision hip replacement surgery. Her post-operative x-ray showed Extented Trochanteric Osteotomy with multiple wires with long Uncemented Wagnor Stem with Dual Mobility cup. Now she is walking comfortable with support. These complex cases require meticulous surgical planning in terms of instruments , bone defects or loss and soft tissue loosening. We routinely perform such complex revision cases with great outcome.
